A Cuor Leggero: the dealcoholised wine from Colli Ripani

Working in the world of wine means never getting bored: every harvest brings new challenges, and every season, new opportunities.

For us Vinitaly 2025 was a key moment to share with the public something we’ve been nurturing with passion and dedication: A Cuor Leggero, our collection of dealcoholised wines. Born for those who don’t want to give up the pleasure of a good Colli Ripani wine, A Cuor Leggero was crafted to accompany life’s meaningful moments — with flavour and lightness. It’s our response to an increasingly relevant need: to be able to raise a glass together, even without alcohol.

The native grapes selected for this new collection are Pecorino for the white and Sangiovese for the red — two symbolic varieties of our region , carefully worked to preserve the aromatic profile and the identity of the Marche. 

“We wanted to shape a dealcoholised wine that wasn’t just an alternative, but a conscious, high-quality choice,” explains Marco Pignotti, the winery’s oenologist. “We selected our best grapes to ensure a rich, recognisable flavour profile that reflects the authentic character of Colli Ripani. To achieve the best result, we relied on a specialised company with deep expertise in dealcoholisation — a trusted partner that understood the importance of preserving the integrity of our raw materials.” 

The same care was devoted to every detail of the product, including the packaging. “The choice of a screw cap,” adds Cecilia Guglielmi, sales manager, “was made for several reasons: it offers greater practicality and ensures better wine preservation over time. Our goal was to offer a modern, accessible product that meets the needs of those seeking new ways to enjoy responsible consumption”.

A Cuor Leggero was conceived for everyone: — from newly licensed drivers to expectant mothers, from those who have chosen a balanced lifestyle to those who simply prefer not to drink alcohol but still want to share the joy of being together, glass in hand.

With this new collection, Cantina dei Colli Ripani embraces a different way of experiencing wine: inclusive, authentic, and — as always — faithful to the land.
