From Italy to America

In August’s edition of the American Wine & Spirits magazine (covering the Rosé explosion), two of our wines featured under the ‘New Release Imports’ section in the ‘Italy White’ category: Mercantino® Offida DOCG Pecorino 2020 e Lajella® Offida DOCG Passerina 2020 entrambi della 508 Collection.

The fun of this treasure hunt lies in reading the words used to describe our wines. These range from the bold mandarin notes found in Mercantino to pair with freshly seared scallops, through to Lajella with its lively kiwi fruit and saline finish – perfect with shellfish. Another interesting fact: Mercantino® scored 88 and Lajella® 87. These scores meant that our wines gained a place in the ‘Best Buy’ selection.
